Question: Alana, I would like to visit a tarot card reader or a fortuneteller but I don’t know if I can. I’m so unsure of my life at the moment and the direction it’s heading. Sometimes when things get really bad, I wonder why I’m here and that maybe I’d be better off away from this world. Is it wise to visit people like this for spiritual guidance, or shall I just wait and see what happens?
Answer: Hello, dear one! Thank you for your question. There are a couple of things that Alana would like to talk about. The first one being the feeling of confusion that exists within you. Alana feels that you are at a place of transition, and that your nature has some confusion about what the future could hold for you. Also, that your being needs some encouragement–your nature seems to desire greater self-definition.
So, I would encourage you to go to your bookstore. Thumb through books, and find one that is about creating a mission. Find one that is about helping you gain a sense of self-purpose. Alana feels that having a mission is all that is missing within your nature. It is a feeling of purpose and recognition that a purpose sometimes is quite simple. Sometimes a purpose is just about shedding light or being an example of joy. You will know, so begin there. Begin with identifying what could be a possible purpose or mission statement for you. When we are with purpose, we automatically draw people to us to love and to feel loved by.
Secondly, let’s discuss your question about seeing a tarot card reader or a fortuneteller. Recognize that we create mentors in many ways. And yes, sometimes going to see an individual who connects through their intuition and non-physical spiritual advisors is delightful. Often it brings about a sense of confirmation of one’s self. The spiritual advisor’s purpose is not to tell you what to do, make judgments of you, or decide for you. It is really about facilitating you to follow your own heart.
When you interview an individual from whom you would like to seek some spiritual guidance, first have a conversation with them. Get a sense of who they are and what their life is about while you feel their vibration. If they have a sense of bossiness, or you feel that they are interested in making predictions, then Alana suggests that you pass them up. I would continue my search until I found an individual with whom I felt aligned. I would seek out a person who is light, happy, and joy-filled. I would attract a facilitator who empowers others to make their own decisions, rather than tells them what to do. Alana feels that you will get a sense of this. Recognize that you are really interviewing them. You are having a conversation with them to feel their essence and their vibration.
Mentors come in many forms, and guides come in many forms. If you pay attention to how your body feels and how much love comes from them, you will know whether or not they are the right advisor for you.
Thank you for your question, dear one. Alana appreciates you bringing it forth and feels that your question is very delightful. I wish you well with your purpose and feel that you are getting ready to blossom soon, dear one. Thank you.
