In 1965, Dr. David R. Hawkins began the research which resulted in this interesting and informative book, “Power vs. Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior”.
While a practicing psychiatrist, he found himself in the very depths of despair which he considered to be the lowest parts of hell.
A self-proclaimed atheist at the time, he asked God for help and experienced a spiritual transformation.
Later he discovered a kinesiological response providing a link between the unmanifest portion of reality and the manifest reality of the human body. He learned to demonstrate this link reliably and differentiate between truth and non-truth.
Using this knowledge, he began an exploration into the nature of consciousness which led to his creating a “map of consciousness” which describes subjectively what we experience at different levels of energy.
This was Hawkins’ first book aimed at the general public. The text is strongly suggested for anyone seeking the truth about our inner selves and the parts of consciousness that do not come to our awareness yet determine our actions many times. Reading may be a bit technical for some, but it is well worth the time to delve into and learn about the concepts delivered to the reader.
Whether you are just beginning searching revelations about human behavior or have been researching for some time, you’ll find this book informative, helpful and enlightening.
Power vs. Force: The Hidden Determinants of Human Behavior by Dr. David Hawkins will lead you on a unique learning journey and will perhaps shift your consciousness in perceiving reality a bit differently.
