Born in Bellingham, Washington in 1972, Amy had inspiration for her fairies reflecting on the exquisite nature of the Pacific Northwest. Once she gets an idea in her head, she began by creating simple pencil sketches. She defined her images by filling in shading, leaving the color for the final details. One of her traits is to work on several pieces at one time.
